I work as our Employability person in our department and I can tell you there isn’t at all, in fact quite the opposite! Psychology is one of the best degrees in terms of after University job prospects as the skills you pick up are quite widely applicable. We see roughly 55% of psychology graduates going into some form of management/professional services role (think HR) but it’s quite varied. On average only about 3% of psychology graduates are unemployed 6mths after their degree finishes.
